Jamaican Art
Jamaican art is a unique style of art that has started through the deep roots of the Jamaican culture. Since the dawn of the sixteenth century, people of the Jamaican culture have made fine art such as furniture, jewelry, and casual attire out of material such as wood, fiber, tortoise shell, cloth, mahogany, and straw. Jamaican art displays impact on its surrounding areas with pleasure to it. The fine art allows people of the area and people not of the area to have special and unique attire to cover themselves, and also provides a welcoming exhibit for those that just love to see the art.
